Perfect
I'd grab my gloves and put them on. I'd make my way to the cosy kitchen and make myself a hot cup of kopi O. With my Kopi O, I'd take my loved one to the veranda outside, sit on a comfortable wooden long chair and watch as snow falls from the beautiful blue sky.
I'd put my arm around her and offer her my cup of Kopi-O. She'd take a sip as we continue to watch white snow flooding the streets outside our home. We'd slowly remove ourselves from the chair and I'd take her hand as I guide her towards the gate outside. Pushing it open, we'd find ourselves lying on the ground as every drop of snow fall on us. We'd lie there forever.
We'd see children of all races patiently constructing their versions of snowmen. Some would throw balls of ice at each other. Some would just, like us, lay on the ground welcoming the beauty that is "white Christmas".
From inside our home, Chicane's Halcyon is heard. The perfect soundtrack to such a perfect moment.
My uncle once said, "I am not a Christian, but Christmas is the only time I look forward to."
Merry Christmas everyone.
